During the week of July 15, 2005 I researched the Foster Family at the DAR (Daughter's of the American Revolution) in Washington D.C.
Also, at the National Archives I researched the pension packet of Richard P. Foster and his widow Arvilla Jane Icanberry.

On my next trip I will be visiting each of the counties highlighted in blue of former locations where my ancestors were born, married and died.  I will spend many days in the Library of Virginia in Richmond.
